The arts bring people together across many lines: demographic, economic, and social. The arts are an effective tool for community empowerment. People express themselves, their communities, and their cultures in arts and cultural spaces. How can we make change? We have to begin with the facts, and that means starting with raw data. Join the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs // @culutre_la and the Los Angeles County Arts Commission // @LAcountyArts on April 22, 2017 to explore how use data to ensure that everyone in the greater Los Angeles area has real and meaningful access to the arts, no matter who they are, or where they live!
